Change Management / Restructuring
Whether change management or restructuring is required, companies constantly face fresh challenges and must undertake change in order to remain competitive and therefore successful. In line with the principle that “change is the only true constant”, managers and leaders face new challenges day-in, day-out. Well prepared and well accompanied change processes are a key success factor here.
What is the fundamental challenge?
Changes need to have a positive impact on the operational level, but are influenced and can be obstructed by the emotions of everyone involved.
Even where company-internal “change agents ” are present who have received the appropriate training to be able to accompany change processes, it can make sound sense to bring in external consultants and / or mediators as sparring partners.
External consultants and / or mediators can actively and effectively support the process precisely because they are not a part of the system and can thus distance themselves more easily from the emotions of the individual parties involved. What’s more, the systemic-complementary approach provides a holistic view of the organization, taking both hard and soft facts into account and thus integrating the relevant strategic, structural and cultural aspects of the company into the process.
Options for accompanying the process
- In a workshop framework, managers are prepared for the change management process in their company.
- Employees and managers are accompanied in the change process on-site.
What is required for successful Change Management?
A change process will succeed or fail depending on the acceptance of the employees and managers affected. This is why it is essential to design the process as transparently as possible right from the outset, to involve the employees and to inform them regularly about the current status of the process.
Turn those affected into participants!
